Care and comfort at home

Palliative and end-of-life support can help a person remain at home with care that respects their wishes, comfort and dignity. Our carers provide practical and personal support alongside the person’s GP, community nursing and specialist palliative care teams. Clinical treatment and symptom control remain with the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Support we can discuss

Personal care, washing, dressing and continence support
Meals, household tasks, companionship and reassurance
Medicines support within an agreed care plan and staff competence
Visits, respite or live-in arrangements subject to assessment and availability

We listen to the person and their family or representative, agree a care plan, and adapt the support as needs change. If there is an urgent medical concern, contact the relevant clinical team or emergency services.
