Respite Care

Respite care gives a family carer time away while the person they support receives planned care at home. It may cover a regular break, a holiday or a change in circumstances. We agree the arrangements after discussing the person’s needs, routines and the support already in place.

Flexible support at home

Depending on the assessment and availability, respite can be arranged as visiting care or a live-in arrangement. We agree visit times, tasks, handover information and how to contact the team. For urgent requests, please call so we can discuss what is possible.

Our care plan can cover personal care, meals, companionship, medicines support where assessed, and help with familiar daily activities. We aim to keep the person comfortable in their own routine and communicate with the family or representative as agreed.
