We are recruiting care workers and senior care workers in Portsmouth and surrounding areas. Applications are welcome from people already in the UK, including those who may qualify for in-country sponsorship.
Care worker and senior care worker vacancies
Join Qualitcare24-7 Ltd to support people in their own homes and in supported living across Portsmouth and surrounding areas. We welcome applications from experienced carers and people ready to develop their skills with training and supervision.
Current roles
- Care workers and home carers: person-centred support with daily living, personal care, medication where trained, and community activities.
- Senior care workers: lead shifts, support colleagues, contribute to care planning and quality checks, and respond to changes in people’s needs.
Roles may include visiting care, live-in care and supported living. Hours, location, duties and pay will be discussed for the specific vacancy. A driving licence may be required for some community roles.
In-country UKVI applicants
We welcome applications from care workers and senior care workers who are already in the UK. Where sponsorship is needed, we can consider an in-country application only if the individual and vacancy meet the current UKVI rules. For occupation codes 6135 and 6136, this generally means the applicant is applying for permission to stay and either has legally worked for Qualitcare24-7 in the relevant role for at least three months before a Certificate of Sponsorship is assigned, or was last granted Skilled Worker permission in an eligible care worker or senior care worker occupation and has held continuous permission in those roles. We will check each case individually. Applying does not guarantee a job offer or sponsorship, and overseas entry-clearance applications for these roles cannot be sponsored under the current rules.
What we look for
- A caring, respectful approach and a commitment to safeguarding and person-centred support.
- Relevant care experience and qualifications for senior roles; training and development are available.
- Evidence of identity and the right to work, satisfactory references and the checks required for the role, including an enhanced DBS check where applicable.
- Clear communication, reliability and willingness to work as part of a team.
